Juneteenth is celebrated because of the people announced to slaves in Galveston, Tx that they were free years after abolishment of slavery in America. These people probably were right and praise God for their voice, however to keep making things Democratic and republican is furthering dividing our country. Many of us good teachers left because we saw the hypocrisy and fear. We see that other problems compounded this issue such as teaching inaccuracies about climate change, inaccuracies in history especially related to slave history, the pushing of the lgbtq agenda and expectations that we would go along with all of it. Many of us critical thinkers didn't and we quit. This left a vacuum for many teachers who supported these ideologies. So please dont say it was ALL teachers. It wasn't. Id estimate 3% of us left because of this.
